What Seest Thou?

Have you ever really noticed how humble is the Light?
Each morning softly seeping until Darkness slips from sight
It cheerfully awakens us to All Things big and small
It gives direction to our path so that we need never fall

Faith trusts the Invisible and sees clearly

But it is not so with the Dark.  Dark is proud and mean
His black cloak covers everything, leaves all but him unseen
He stirs the fearful Whispers and tells his dirty lies
All that was familiar is now wrapped in his disguise

Fear focuses on the visible and stumbles blindly

Do not stand in the darkness of your own understanding!

"... God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.". I John 1:5

Prov. 3:5-6, Epe. 5:8, Ps. 119:130, Is. 9:2; 42:16

"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
 I John  1:7-9

The Resurrection was done in the quiet morning hours with no fanfare.

The Problems of Misspelled Words

Y
Only one letter! Not really a word!
The logic in this spelling is highly absurd
The voices of doubt--a question and answer-"Why?" and "I"--a deadly sin cancer!

OY
Now two letters--but hardly much better
To listen and heed to what others pleasure
What exclamation! What horrid frustration
To live and to seek for the world's admiration

JOY
Yes! That is a spelling with everything right!
Just doing what's pleasing in Jesus' sight!
Trusting His Word! Enjoying His Love!
Serving His Will lays up treasure Above!
