An object at rest
tends to stay at rest—
These stones hadn’t
moved for quite some time
Buried in the rubbish
left behind
They waited for
someone—anyone--to care
It didn’t have to be
the best speaker
Or one with talents
by the score
But just one willing
to fill the breach
To stand before the
Lord
Have you ever heard a
stone rejoice?
A rock “Hosanna”
shout
When God is exalted,
miracles start
Even mountains move
about!
